DB3 KICKOFF - The next step of Dutch-Bangla

The next step in the growth of Dutch-Bangla, DB3, is now up and running. The first bags have been made and it all started with a close-knit inauguration ceremony.

The factory team were all there with great enthusiasm and energy to step onto the new production floor alongside. After the ribbon cutting, there was brief prayer session and group photo shoot to mark the day. A heavy lunch (as is the tradition here) followed the inauguration program.

The construction of DB3 started in November 2020, atop the first floor of DB2.

After 9 months of continuous efforts, the facility is now fully ready to produce high-quality food and industrial grade bags. DB3 contains Cutting (both heat cutting and ultrasonic), printing and Cleanroom sewing, baling and storage area. The annual capacity of DB3 is 10x40 FCL/month, translating to an annual capacity of 1 million big bags. Cleanroom concepts such as zoning, differential air pressure etc. has been ensured, to meet cleanroom standards.

The DB team is confident to take up the challenge of achieving the target capacity at earliest with the assistance of LC International and make DB3 a successful venture.
