Seeing Employee Well-being More Clearly
Dutch Bangla Pack Limited, in partnership with VisionSpring Bangladesh Limited, organized a free eye care program for its employees at the DBPL premises from 5 May 2026 to 13 May 2026. Fully funded by Dutch Bangla Pack Limited, the initiative ensured that participating employees and workers received eye care services completely free of cost. The program provided a total eye care solution, including eye screening, identification of vision needs, reading glasses, prescription glasses, and follow-up support, bringing essential eye care directly to the workplace.

Care That Continues Beyond Screening
The program was inaugurated on 5 May 2026 and continued for nine days, making eye care more accessible for employees without disrupting their regular work routine. To ensure the impact continues beyond the screening period, Vision Champions were formed from the DBPL team. They monitored the overall activities during the program and will continue employee follow-up every two weeks. VisionSpring will also provide follow-up support every two months, helping maintain awareness, guidance, and continuity of care.
759 Employees Screened, 308 Glasses Provided
During the program, a total of 759 employees and workers received eye screening services. Among them, 102 persons received reading glasses, 206 persons received prescription glasses, and 451 persons were found to have normal eye condition. By identifying vision needs and providing the right support, the program contributed to employee comfort, safety, productivity, and overall well-being.
